Retro Mirror Coasters

This set of 4 mirror coasters are made by Richmond artist Morgan Gilbreath. Each coaster is cut from recycled vintage mirror and backed with cork. Square coasters measure 4" and the hex are about 4" dia.

Morgan Gilbreath's design products serve as a natural extension of her studio practice while fulfilling her desire to share with others.  This supplemental practice provides her with a more thorough understanding of technique and intent on a human scale.  Through rituals of making and re-making, the artist further explores themes of structure, renewal, and chance.  The result of this creative process is a series of sustainable, handmade objects that exist in the service of a joyful contemporary life.
