Justin R. Cockrell Venetian Goblet

Justin R. Cockrell (b. 2002) is a contemporary craftsperson, and educator using the language of fiber to produce textiles, furniture, and comfort objects. They were born to freedom in Columbus, Ohio and now live, and love, in the ashes of the confederacy in Richmond, Virginia as a Queer Black Mexican-American. They received both their BFA in Craft + Material Studies and BA in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University and are an alumni of the Yale Norfolk School of Art
