Debbie Quick is an artist and educator whose work explores materiality, memory, and the ways objects carry presence\. She earned her B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University and her M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has taught since 1999 in K–12, university, and community settings; she is also the founder of Clay Ground, a Richmond\-based community ceramics studio\. Quick’s work has been supported by residencies and fellowships including VMFA, MASS MoCA, Monson Arts, and Fiskars, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with a forthcoming solo exhibition at Alma’s Gallery in Fall 2026.
