Brooklin Grantz is a second year graduate student in the Craft/Material Studies department at Virginia Commonwealth University. They received their BFA in Ceramics from Indiana University Southeast in 2020, and continued their studies as a Post-Baccalaureate student in Ceramics at the University of Hartford before coming to VCU. They have worked as an Organizer for houseguest gallery (Louisville, KY) and have assisted at the Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts, Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, where they also participated as a resident artist during Pentaculum 2023. Their work has been shown nationally in group and two-person exhibitions including the Tim Faulkner Gallery (Louisville, KY), Dutoit Gallery (Dayton, OH), and Joseloff Gallery (Hartford, CT) brooklin’s work is rooted in personal narrative— an exploration of self through landscape and clay.
