Jesse Gritzinger of Throws Like a Girl is a potter and educator based at 43rd Street Studios in Richmond, Virginia. Jesse began her ceramics journey in 2013 at Northern Virginia Community College. Then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Craft & Material Studies focusing in ceramics in 2019. Jesse makes handmade pottery adorned with screen printed botanicals. Each plant is pressed, burned into a silkscreen, printed with underglaze to paper, then transferred to the pot.

Crafted with care from durable mid-fire clay, each piece is a unique work of art decorated with screenprinted pressed flowers, adding a touch of charm to your home. Perfect for showcasing your favorite blooms in style.
