The Color Network Presents

Officium

NCECA 2024

Alma's is host to two exhibitions during NCECA. In addition to Officium, we will also be hosting a booth at the Gallery Expo in the Richmond Convention Center from March 18-22.

Works of Service

The Color Network presents Officium, a juried group exhibition celebrating and calling upon the next generation of functional makers of color. Invited emerging artists anchor this open-call juried exhibition. The Color Network's’ greatest service is building community and, in line with our mission, we seek to strengthen and grow a multi-generational network of people of the global majority who will continue to foster access and inclusivity for the next generation of ceramic artists. While this show highlights young artists in the field, it also provides agency to the anchor artist.

This exhibition will be on view during  The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Conference in Richmond, VA. The conference runs throughout Richmond March 20-23 .
