Carved into and layered onto the surface of his forms you will find text-based meditations seeking and sometimes pleading for truths. We glassmakers like to use it when making things that will be seeing some heat fluctuations (laboratory glass or pipes) but also for things that are going to be incredibly delicate looking - the added strength of pyrex helps make these delicate items a little more resilient.
